Zola Jesus is actually the stage name of goth/psychedelic musician Nika Roza. As a solo musician she's released several albums since getting her start in the music industry in 2006. Some previously issued releases include New Amsterdam, The Spoils and Stridulum II. She's also issued a number of EPs, helping to further her career in the industry.
Many fans of Zola Jesus know that she initially found her strength as a music artist as a member of the band Former Ghosts. After recording and touring with them for a number of years, she ventured out on her own and began giving solo concerts. Today she is recognized for her work in the noise pop and gothic rock genres.
