Formed out of Austin, Texas, the alternative metal band the Sword originated in 2003 and gained a steady fan base when members J.D. Cronise, Kyle Shutt, Bryan Richie and Trivett Wingo performed live at Austin’s SXSW festival. They’ve toured the country with indie rock bands, and now the Sword will play a series of concerts alongside music gods Metallica, Laamb of God, Machine Head and Year Long Disaster, all at different tour dates.
