Since forming in 1997, The Matches have remained a tough contender for one of the best live pop-punk acts around. The
band has continued to score hits that please their audiences while tossing curveballs to critics by stretching themselves
on their records with distinctive alternative rock. If you haven't discovered them yet, now is your chance to get concert
tickets.
The Matches formed in 1997 as The Locals. Eventually, Yvonne Doll, a member of a different band with the same name, asked
them to change there's. They switched to The Matches—but not without getting some revenge. Their first LP, released
in 2004, was titled E. Von Dahl Killed the Locals, and announced the arrival of a talented young band.
The Matches tickets are now available! Look up above and you can see where they will
be playing on their current tour. Go ahead and buy some—but act quickly. There are a lot of other Matches fans who
will be gearing up to see them, so you'll want to make sure you get yours early and grab a decent place in the crowd.
