The Outside Lands Music Festival is San Francisco's answer to the indie-rock fests found across the country each summer.
In 2012, you will be able to find another spectacular lineup of great bands. Grab Outside Lands Music Festival tickets for Golden Gate Park
before things heat up this summer!
The first Outside Lands Music Festival was held in 2008, offering Bay Area music fans a place where they could check out
everything from major artists like Radiohead to up-and-comers that had become bloggers' delights. Just about every genre of
music can be found on the Outside Lands Music Festival lineup each year. Punky electronic acts, fuzzed-out garage pop, underground
hip-hop - it's all here for you to enjoy!
Golden Gate Park is almost as iconic as San Francisco's famous Golden Gate Bridge. Back in the 1860s, before much of the
land around the park had been developed, it was a long stretch of sandy "outside lands" that lay on the periphery of the city.
In time, the beginnings of the Sunset District would develop on the land, and Golden Gate Park was opened in 1880. Even today,
getting Golden
Gate Park Polo Field tickets will let you experience the area's history - not to mention beauty.
Concert tickets to the Outside Lands Music
Festival aren't going to last forever. It's a must-see for locals, but there are plenty out-of-towners willing to make the
trip out to the City by the Bay. Make sure you get your tickets before they buy them all up.
