Marty Stuart got his start when Bluegrass legend Lester Flatt hired him to play the mandolin when he was just 13. Stuart played with Flatt until his death in 1979 and then continued to play acoustic and electric guitar for various artists, most famously the iconic Johnny Cash. Stuart started his solo career in 1989 and has been delivering his hard country sound ever since.
