Window" in 1994, though serious musical ambition didn't really happen for another decade. The star first started appearing
under the quartet the Licks while her concert tickets began to
gain momentum as she performed in hot venues, like Johnny Depp's the Viper Room.
Actress turned singer Juliette Lewis fronts the alternative pop outfit the New Romantiques, a rock and roll outfit that
didn't come to serious fruition until 2003 following a break from acting.
Acting since she was young, Juliette Lewis was born into an acting family (her father Geoffery Lewis was an actor). She
starred in television before hitting the big screen for Martin Scorsese's "Cape Fear," where she earned a nod for
Best Supporting Actress from the Academy Awards. Eventually she launched a musical career, starring with the Licks until
2009, and then the New Romantiques.
