part of the NCAA Division I-AA Southwestern Athletic Conference. The Tigers men’s basketball team has appeared in
three NCAA Tournaments with a combined record of 0-3. Several of the Tiger’s have gone to play in the NBA, including
Cleveland Buckner, Lindsey Hunter, Ed Manning, Audie Norris, Sylvester Norris, Gene Short and Purvis Short.
