Ever since it was built in 1966, the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center Arena has been the home of the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs. The DECC Arena seating chart can be arranged in a couple of different ways. For concerts and other center stage events, much of the arena floor can be used for additional seating that otherwise would be used for the playing field or basketball court. When filled to capacity, DECC Arena can fit about 5,300 people.
In addition to the proper hockey rink and arena at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center there is another venue called Pioneer Hall, a facility that can host curling events, both big and small. In fact, Pioneer Hall has held several U.S. Curing competitions associated with the Olympic Games and the World Curling Championships. The entire complex can host other things as well, including banquets, conventions, theatre and concerts of various sizes.
