Whenever the members of the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University football teams sit down to plan the season,
one game that always gets special attention is the Battle of Bedlam. For the 2010 Battle of Bedlam, the University of Oklahoma
took home the victory with a 47-41 win, continuing their winning streak. Both teams will be back at it again in 2011.
The Battle of Bedlam extends to multiple sports, but the football rivalry is a favorite of NCAA football fans. The University of Oklahoma Sooners and the
Oklahoma State University Cowboys football teams have been facing off since the early 1900s, and each year another chapter
is added to the storied history of the Battle of Bedlam.
The Battle of Bedlam alternates between the homes of the Sooners and the Cowboys. The Sooners play at the Gaylord Family - Oklahoma
Memorial Stadium, which holds over 82,000. The Cowboys call Boone Pickens Stadium home. Boone Pickens Stadium features
a capacity of 60,000. Both stadiums are among the best in college football.
Because of the hard-fought rivalry between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, fans show up in droves every year to be a part
of the Battle of Bedlam. Once you have experienced one Battle of Bedlam game, you will understand why sports tickets to the event are so popular. This year, make sure you bring
your friends along with you.
