Riley B. King was born in Mississippi on September 16, 1925. Growing up he spent long hours working as a share cropper during the week and singing the Lord's praises at church. Always talented with the guitar his musical career was finally launched successfully in 1949 when he cut his first four tracks for Jim Bulleit's bullet Records. Since then he has been a respected artist winning a dozen Grammy Awards over the years.
B.B. King has made his way from struggling musician to internationally recognized and respected musician. His work has become known worldwide and his guitar stylings are as mesmerizing as ever.
