In the college sports scene,
few sports have the same following that college football does. The Southwestern Athletic Conference helps keep that reputation

Football got its start at the Arkansas Pine Bluff, when Charles McClurkin organized the first football team in 1915 at
Branch Normal College. Branch Normal College eventually became Arkansas AM&N College in 1927, and the next year was the first
official year of football. In the years since, the Golden Lions have continued to make an impact on the Southwestern Athletic Conference.

Stadium is a relatively new stadium in the Southwestern Athletic Conference, which means that it has all of the amenities
expected from a modern stadium. The stadium was a capacity of 16,000.
